“The annual commemoration to the grave of Wolfe Tone will take place this year on Sunday, June 11, assembling at Sallins Village, Co Kildare at 2.30pm. The oration will be given by An Comhairleoir Tomás Ó Curraoin, Gaillimh.

Today Irish Republicanism and the Republican Movement face a number of challenges, making your presence at Bodenstown on Sunday, June 11 all the more important. We call on all our supporters and members to make a big effort to attend the commemoration to the grave of the Father of Irish Republicanism, the most important Republican event in each year.

We are under attack from all sides and Bodenstown provides an opportunity to send a clear signal that Republican Sinn Féin remains determined to “Break the connection with England”.

It behoves all Republicans to ensure that the continuity of the Republicanism first brought to us by the Father of Irish Republicanism, Theobald Wolfe Tone, and the United Irishmen is ensured.

Rally to the Republican Movement at Bodenstown on Sunday, June 11 and show the world that we will not be defeated by repression, intimidation from any source or by any other means and that we mean to continue the struggle for the All-Ireland Republic until we succeed.”
