A Sinn Féin Poblachtach member was charged today with possessing items which could potentially be of use to a terrorist organisation. These items are normal items that one may purchase, one of which was for use in his business.

Bail was denied after the Crown Forces representative DCI Hamilton objected to bail, even using a Sinn Féin Poblachtach statement as part of this objection.

While his family supported him in court, their family home was ransacked by Crown Forces who smashed in the front door and caused considerable damage to the inside of the house.

We call for the immediate release of this activist and condemn the brutal attack on the family home by the British Colonial Police the RUC/PSNI who are hell bent on harassing and intimidating republicans.
