Sinn Féin Poblachtach has been inundated with calls from residents in Derry complaining that the British army is back on the streets of Derry city.
One concerned resident says, “We witnessed armed British soldiers on the streets in and around the Creggan area, which is effectively under siege by heavily armed members of the Crown Forces.”
Sinn Féin Poblachtach has always maintained that occupation troops were on the streets, albeit dressed as colonial police. They now feel comfortable enough to lay siege to areas they consider “the enemy”.
It’s clear now, 25 years after the Stormont [Good Friday] Agreement, the Occupied Six Counties is back to a stage of direct rule from London, with armed British soldiers on our streets.
Meanwhile useless politicians of all parties stay at home though they continue to draw down big salaries.
Sinn Féin Poblachtach calls on all people to join the organisation, to confront both the British army and those politicians who claim to represent the communities under siege across the Occupied Six Counties.
