Preas Ráitheas / Press Release

Cork woman Vera Twomey has been walking a 260km journey from her home in Cork to Leinster house in Dublin in protest for her daughters access to medicinal cannabis on compassionate grounds.

Vera’s daughter Ava, who suffers from a rare from of epilepsy called Dravets syndrome and could suffer several seizures daily without the help she needs.

RSF would like to extend our support to the Twomey family and call on the cronies in Leinster house to prioritize this case before it’s too late.
While they’re busy with Garda corruption stories and water charges a little kids life is on the line.

Vera Twomey is expected to make it to Leinster house tomorrow (Tuesday), even though she has been suffering with tonsillitis and two sore knees and who is now doing the journey in a wheel chair.

We also call on anyone local or not to help raise awareness for the Twomey family by sharing these posts and their posts and anyone who can make it to Leinster house Tuesday please be there to show solidarity and support.

Críoch / (End)
