Over the course of Easter weekend Republican Sinn Féin and other branches of the wider Republican Movement gathered in cemetery’s and national monuments across the land to remember all those who gave their lives for Irish Freedom and in particular the events of Easter Week 1916 when our nation defied an Empire and sowed the seeds for nearly a century consistent resistance for full Irish Freedom.  A full report of all the weekends Easter Commemorations will be in this months issue of SAOIRSE: IRISH FREEDOM.
