Republicans are deeply saddened today to learn of the passing of lifelong Republican Péig King of Tyrone and Dublin.  In recent times Peig held position as Patron of Sinn Féin Poblachtach. She will be greatly missed by all her friends and comrades in the Republican Movement having worked in many positions for almost 9 decades. 

A true Republican, unbroken continuity.

We extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the King family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a h-anam.
