Ráiteas / Statement: 3/8/17
“The events that unfolded yesterday on the mountains of Mourne in occupied Ireland highlight the continuing training of the forces of occupation in our land. While this incident involved mainly children, the fact remains that those adults with these children were led by members of the British army. It can also be concluded that other forms of covert training are carried on within the Occupied Six Counties.
Emergency services were called to assist a group of 70 British army cadets and instructors. The group which is from Middlesbrough in England were at their annual camp in the occupied 6 counties supposedly carrying out adventure training and cultural visits.
Sinn Féin Poblachtach utterly condemn the training of occupational forces within Ireland, it is past time that these forces, along with their governmental interference’s in our country end. It is time for a new and United Ireland, time for Éire Nua.”
