“Sinn Féin Poblachtach commend the decision last night of the UN calling for the end of the illegal blockade of Cuba. For too long now the U.S. administration has attempted to crush the revolution of the Cuban people. This illegal blockade not only affected the Cuban people and government but also many other countries who did business with Cuba. Such bullying behaviour can not be allowed to continue unanswered. It was interesting that the vote was carried unanimously with two abstentions;- USA and Israel.

Sinn Féin Poblachtach has long supported the Cuban struggle, in the past few years they have organised solidarity work brigades for members, supporters and those interested in seeing/hearing about all things Cuban, We will be organising another brigade in July 2017 and anyone who is interested can contact our Ard Oifig.”
