Republican Sinn Féin was proud to partake in the Republican Movement’s annual Theobald Wolfe Tone Commemoration from Sallins in Kildare for the march to Bodenstown Churchyard on the 22nd of June, 2014.

In extremely hot sun, Republican Sinn Féin marched with comrades from other Republican Groups, Na Fianna Éireann and Cumann na mBan.

R.S.F. would like to thank the Coatsbridge United Irishmen RFB who were brilliant on the day and who travelled from Scotland especially to pay their respects to Theobald.

The oration was delivered by Veteran Republican, Peig King from Tyrone and Dublin, who in full Cumann na mBan uniform delivered a comprehensive history from the 1790’s to present highlighting the unbroken continuity of the revolutionary tradition, finalising Peig delivered a strong message to those who believe in Irish independence, join the branch of the Republican Movement which best fits your needs and play your part.
